I started out as a graphic designer, working on books, catalogs, and branding for independent businesses. When I began designing websites, I noticed something uncomfortable: I was designing based on how things looked, without really understanding what users wanted or what they were trying to achieve. I could make a beautiful screen, but I couldn’t explain why it was the right one. That bothered me, so I went to study UX at Creat.

My first professional steps as a product designer were at Inkod, a project-based company, where I worked on several cyber products at the same time, each with different product managers and development teams. The biggest was a system for a major data protection company: an amorphous subject, many stages, branching flows, and several types of users with different needs. I also worked on simpler experiences like onboarding, which are complex in a different way, because you have a few seconds to help someone understand what to do. I like to call that period my tech boot camp.

Today I work on questions at the heart of Fiverr’s marketplace. How do you help a buyer decide which seller to reach out to, out of thousands of options? How do you build trust between two people who don’t know each other? How do you make communication between them more effective? When the company realized it had to bring AI into the product, I worked on the first three AI projects in the marketplace.
